DCCI urges Belgian financial specialists to put resources into Bangladesh

‘Absolute exchange among Bangladesh and Belgium in FY2017-18 was over $821.04 million’

Leader of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) Osama Taseer on Tuesday called upon the financial specialists of Belgium to put more in Bangladesh.

He said this while meeting Belgian Ambassador to Bangladesh Francois Delhaye at the DCCI gathering room in Dhaka, as indicated by a public statement.

Osama Taseer said that in FY2017-18, Bangladesh’s fares to Belgium were worth $629.89 million and imports from Belgium to Bangladesh remained at $191.14 million.

“All out exchange among Bangladesh and Belgium in FY2017-18 was over $821.04 million,” he educated.

Francois Delhaye said that there are potential areas like power, vitality, port, digging, jute and jute products, farming, agro-preparing in Bangladesh where Belgian financial specialists may contribute.

He educated that a Belgian exchange appointment will visit Bangladesh in the not so distant future.

He focused on significance on trade of exchange assignment among Bangladesh and Belgium to upgrade know-how and speculation.

Among others, DCCI Senior Vice President Waqar Ahmad Chowdhury, Vice President Imran Ahmed, and Counselor (Economic Affairs) of Belgian Consul Guilaume Choquet, were additionally present at the gathering.
