National Desk, Rashedul Islam Biplob , Staff Reporter: Dhaka Office: Alltimenews.com:- Quota protesters give 24-hour to trouble gazette, Bangladesh General Students Rights Protection Alliance the day before today gave the authorities a 24-hour ultimatum to publish a gazette notification on abolishing quota machine in government jobs as according to the Prime Minister’s statement, reports UNB.

They additionally threatened to go for a more difficult motion from Sunday if their call for is not fulfilled by means of the given time.

Hasan Al Mamun, convener of the platform, came up with the ultimatum at a human chain programme held at the foot of Raju Memorial Sculpture of Dhaka University (DU) from eleven pm to twelve.30 PM.

More than 1000 students from special departments and home halls of Dhaka University participated within the human chain organised with the aid of Bangladesh General Students Rights Protection Alliance.

Hasan Al Mamun said, “We hope the authorities will take steps for publishing a gazette by using Thursday as in line with as Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s assertion on the Jatiya Sangsad.”

Student leaders of quota reform motion Rashed Khan, Nurulhaq Nur, Hasan Al Mamun and Faruk Hossain, amongst others, addressed the human chain programme.
