An HC bench of Justice Md Shawkat Hossain and Justice Abu Taher Md Saifur Rahman surpassed the order after listening to a petition filed via Khaleda Zia in the case, reviews UNB.
Advocate Khandaker Mahbub Hossain stood for Khaleda Zia while Attorney General Mahbubey Alam observed by means of Deputy Attorneys General AKM Amin Uddin Manik and Moniruzzaman Rubel represented the kingdom.
Earlier, the High Court on Sunday adjourned until Monday (today) the hearing on a bail petition filed via BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia inside the case.
On June 5 closing, the BNP leader filed the bail petition through her lawyers in the case filed underneath the Special Powers Act.
On February three, 2015, 8 humans were killed in a petrol bomb attack on a bus at Jogmohanpur in Chouddagram upazila of Cumilla district during a motion waged by means of the BNP-led 20-birthday celebration alliance.
After the incident, three cases – one for killing, one underneath the Explosive Substances Act and the alternative below the Special Powers Act – have been filed with Chouddagram Police Station against Khaleda Zia and numerous top BNP leaders.
