Rover scout training camp at JU

Rover Scout of Jahangirnagar University (JU) unit organized a day-long training camp on Monday on the university campus.

The programme started at 9 am with hoisting the national flag and singing of the national anthem and ended up with a discussion on Physical Training, Scout background, heritage, youth and leadership, badge practices and PRS at afternoon.

The coordinator and senior rover mate Khalilur Rahman, assistant coordinator Kazi Alauddin, Kaniz Rokeya and other rover members were received scarf and scout badge in the program. Acting teacher of JU Rover scout Mohammad Kamruzzaman was in chair while rover mate Asadullah Al Galib conducted it.
Secretary of Bangladesh Scouts Dhaka District Rover Lt. Md. Omar Ali addressed at the program as the chief guest.

‘You all are appointed as members of the World Scout Movement and serving as volunteers. Carry on your service to any need of the country’, said the Chief Guest at his address.

Senior Rover Mate of Bangladesh Rover, Dhaka Zilla, SM Nazmur Karim Nahid, Senior Rover Mate of Dhaka University Md Abdus Salam, former Rover Mate of JU group, Mahbubur Rahman, Ibrahim Noman, Naoshad Nabil, Shabbir Ahmed were present at the programme, among others.
