Samrat was released from the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases or NICVD around 12 pm on Saturday and reclaimed to Dhaka Central Jail in Keraniganj, said correctional facility official Iqbal Kabir Chowdhury.
Samrat arrived in the focal prison following his capture over his supposed connections to the illicit gambling club business on Oct 6.
After two days, he was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for treatment in the wake of grumbling of chest torment before being moved to the NICVD.
“He has been taken back to imprison subsequent to recouping from treatment,” said Iqbal.
Samrat, the leader of Jubo League’s Dhaka South wing, was removed by the association following his capture.
He went under the spotlight after the Rapid Action Battalion uncovered illicit gambling club center points in donning clubs in Dhaka on Sept 18.
RAB captured Samrat and his nearby helper Enamul Haque Arman in Cumilla on Saturday. Afterward, they attacked his office in Bhuiyan Trade Center at Kakrail and recouped a stacked gun, 1,160 Yaba pills, 19 containers of remote alcohol, two kangaroo skins and electric gear to torment individuals, said RAB.
