Bourses start week with positive note

Nation’s head bourse, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) yesterday started week with upward pattern.

The wide record, DSEX shut down at 4528.20 focuses yesterday, first working day of week, with an addition of 14.31 focuses or 0.31 percent.

Moreover, two specific records, Blue Chip file, DSE30 went up by 2.43 focuses while Shariah list, DSES declined somewhat by 0.26 focuses to settle at 1545.85 focuses and 1035.22 focuses separately.

On the DSE exchanging floor, a complete number of 145,396 exchanges were executed in exchanging session yesterday with an exchanging volume of 173.56 million protections.

Washouts accepting a lead over gainers as out of 356 issues exchanged, 150 protections picked up cost while 158 declined and 48 stayed unaltered.

The best 10 gainers were Global Heavy, Delta Life Insurance, Fu Wang Food, Saif Power, Shasha Denims, Kattali Textile, Fu Wang Ceramics, Shepherd Industries, ISN Limited and Fareast Life Insurance.

LafargeHolcim Bangladesh beat the turnover diagram followed by SS Steel, ADN Telecom, Square Pharma, KPCL, National Tubes, Paramount Textile, BSCCL, Pioneer Insurance and National Polymer.

The best 10 washouts were Van Guard AML BD Mutual Fund-1, Silco Pharma, SEML IBBL Shariah Fund, Beach Hatchery, ICB, Prime Finance First Mutual Fund, EBL NRB Mutual Fund, Shamorita Hospital, ICB Employee First Mutual Fund Scheme-1 and Green Delta Mutual Fund.

Then again, port city bourse, Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) likewise shut at green broadening the peppy of earlier day.

CSCX and CASPI rose by 28.11 focuses and 48.36 focuses to remain at 8365.38 focuses and 13792.73 focuses separately.

At CSE, an aggregate of 9,114,497 offers and common reserve of 246 organizations were exchanged, of which 115 issues progressed while 106 declined and 25 issues stayed unaltered.
