King-Queen election at JU tomorrow

The election of the king and queen of the 41th batch of Jahangirnagar University will be held tomorrow,Friday,5th July.

Two candidates will contest for the post of King and Queen each in the election.

The voting will be held from 9am to 5pm at the university’s Central Students Union (JUCSU) building. After the voting, the name of the king-queen elected from the polling station will be announced.

Rag 41’s chief election commissioner Dipankar Das confirmed it to Alltimenews.com.

Total 2585 ​​students of the university’s 2011-2012 academic year (41st batch) will be able to vote. Siam Chowdhury Shaon and Arman Khan Jubo of Archeology Department and Bangla Department respectively will contest for the post of King. Iffat Jahan Khan Nova of English department and Shyma Bhattacharya of drama and dramatics department will be competing for the post of queen.

All the candidates are passing busy time in campaign from the last few weeks.
