Higher Study seminar held at JU

Jahangirnagar University Higher Study Club (JUHSC) organized a daylong seminar on higher studies titled ‘360 degree Higher Study’ on Saturday on Jahangirnagar University campus.

The seminar was started around 10.00 am at the Seminar room of Jahir Raihan Auditorium and continued till 5.30 pm.

The program was featured with five sessions including an inaugural session where the director of Wazed Miah Science Research Center Professor A A Mamun and the director of Remote Sensing Institute Professor Sheikh Tawhidul Islam was addressed at the program as special guest while the founder of JUHSC Sajid Kamal was in the chair.

JUHSC also gives honorary reception to a total of 19 American scholarship holders from Jahangirnagar University of this year. 

The representative of EMK Center Ruhul Amin, the student of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) Zihad Azad, and corporate trainer Shariful Islam imparted the seminar on Scholarship, Graduation Record Exam (GRE), and International English Language Testing System respectively.

Meanwhile, the co-founder of JUHSC Abu Sayem Rimon announced the 23-member new executive committee of 2019-20 session with Eshita Kabir Tonni of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering and Abul Bashar Sajal of Statistics department president and secretary respectively.

A total of 200 students from different departments took part in the seminar.
