Murad Hasan today told the Jatiya Sangsad that the ninth pay board grant for

columnists and workers of papers and news organizations would be declared

before long.

The state pastor thought of the comments while answering to a featured

question, for the benefit of Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud, set by decision

party legislator Sheik Anne Rahman (Women situate 19).

Murad said the media-accommodating government, driven by Prime Minister Sheik

Hasina, guaranteed the pay rates and different offices of writers and laborers

of papers and news offices by declaring the eighth compensation board grant

2013 and later executing it.

He said now a sum of 167 papers are executing the eighth compensation

board.

Moreover, the state clergyman stated, the legislature framed a 13-part ninth

compensation board, headed by a resigned equity of Appellate Division of Supreme

Court, for columnists and representatives of papers and news organizations, and

reported 45 percent dearness remittance for them.

He said the ninth pay board presented its report to the legislature and

in the wake of examining the report, a seven-part bureau board of trustees, headed by

Street Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, was framed in this

respect.

Taking note of that the bureau council has effectively held a gathering with

partners concerned, Murad said the ninth compensation board grant for columnists

will be declared soon.
